About the villa

VAMITAG Inn stands on the hillside above Kufri, at 2,290 m in the Shimla Hills. Book it whole and all nine bedrooms are yours, with two living rooms, a dining area and a terrace over the valley.

The team lives on site. They cook, keep house and light the bonfire, so your group can keep the plan loose.

A smaller group can book the 3rd Floor Attic Suites (6 to 7 guests), the 1st Floor Set (7 to 10), attic suites 307 and 308 (4), two rooms (4 to 6) or a single room. See the stay options

Full Villa takes 18 guests in beds across nine bedrooms, and up to 24 with extra mattresses. The 3rd Floor Attic Suites take 6 to 7 guests, the 1st Floor Set 7 to 10, and most rooms two or three. The room-by-room plan and prices
What does Full Villa cost?
Full Villa is ₹32,500 a night for up to 18 guests (₹37,500 before the discount). Each guest after 18, up to 24, adds ₹1,250 a night. The booking page shows the exact price for your dates.
Is the villa ours exclusively?
Yes, when you book Full Villa. All nine bedrooms, both living rooms and the dining room are yours, with the team on hand. When you book a floor or a few rooms, other guests may stay in the rest of the house.
Can we book one floor, or a few rooms?
Yes. The 3rd Floor Attic Suites take 6 to 7 guests, or 8 to 10 with a balcony room added. The 1st Floor Set takes 8 to 10. Two rooms take 4 to 6, and a single room two or three. The booking page shows what is available on your dates, with the price.
How do we pay?
You pay 50% to confirm, by UPI or bank transfer. We keep your rooms for 30 minutes while you pay. The balance is due as stated on your confirmation.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel more than 30 days before you arrive for a full refund. Inside 30 days, the booking can't be refunded.
What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and checkout is by 11:00 AM. If you need to arrive early or leave late, ask us and we'll help when the rooms allow.
Do children pay?
Children 11 and under stay and eat at no charge. They count towards how many a room takes, so the booking page finds each child a bed or a mattress.
Is there food at the villa?
Yes. The kitchen cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner here, ordered at the villa from its own menu: pranthas from ₹90, dal makhani ₹250, butter chicken from ₹450. For a villa group we plan the menu with you, so tell us what you like a day ahead. The full menu

Yes. Wi-Fi with power backup covers the rooms and the living spaces, and teams take video calls from here.
Do you have extra mattresses?
Yes, in every room except the attic suites 307 and 308 and room 306. The booking page adds them when your group needs one, and shows the price.
